About Us
Our Mission
Community Healing Days™ was established by the Community Healing Network (CHN) in New Haven, CT, in 2006. National and international programs are designed to debunk the myth of “Black inferiority” and encourage conversations around mental health, community sustainability, and African cultural practices that support family cohesion and youth resiliency.
For the past 12 years, the Tallahassee Community Healing Coalition (TCHC) has implemented Tallahassee Community Healing Days. Our activities have included healing circles to promote community conversations about issues of relevance to the community (such as COVID-19, food insecurity, and mass incarceration) and activities to promote health (yoga, African dance, gardening, and mental health workshops).
